Valentine's Brunch Invitations

I always feel that an invitation can set the tone for a party.

It makes your guests excited to attend.

I started off with these awesome "event" tickets.

They were custom made for me from JayKayOriginalDesigns on etsy

She will add all your party information onto the sweetest "admit one" ticket.

I made an envelope from heart shaped paper doilies.

Simply pull them apart and put the back sides together, colorful sides facing out.

I am the queen of the hot glue gun (low temp)...so I carefully added a little glue along the sides

Be sure to leave the top open like a pouch.

I added the guest's name & glued a chenille stem to the back for a handle.

Attached to the front (with a sticky dot) is a little bag of conversation hearts.

If you are hand delivering these...no need to worry about the size.

Craft Room Makeover

The new year always brings the promise of a fresh start..don't you love that?

I was inspired to do a makeover in my crafting space

My craft studio is in our unfinished basement.

Over the years, I tried to make a studio in different rooms in the house

...but I never really felt comfortable.

So this is my corner where I create.

It doesn't matter where your space is...just be happy & inspired!

These are two metal cabinets that I attached together with a plywood top.

They were brown metal industrial cabinets when I found them.

I painted everything white and added 3 white bookcases to the top ($15 each at Wal-mart)

Now it's a wonderful "hutch" with plenty of storage.

This would work great with an old dresser too.

Keep it all the same color & it looks like an important piece!

(when painting metal start with a primer & your paint will adhere perfectly)

Plenty of room for rubber stamps & glitter

Shelves for my vintage finds

I have a lot of lace & ribbon

All the drawers in this cabinet are perfect for organizing

...but I like to keep my favorite pieces out for inspiration

Supplies look more inviting in pretty containers

I am in the process of adding a counter height work table to the center of the room.
I have a few more things to do before I finish up this project.

This table shown above doubles as a sewing table & crafting area.

I added the shelves to the back of this table as well.

You can never have too many shelves.

My craft room would not be complete without my little friend Jersey.

She's always there to share her sweet affection & keep me company.

I have enjoyed the organizing, sorting & freshening up process of my craft room for the new year.

It will soon be time to sit down & start creating!

My last flea market find for 2011

Oh goodness....how I will miss my outdoor flea market.

It gets too cold here at the Jersey Shore over the winter....

so I have to put my junk shopping on hold until Spring.

On Sunday it was 25 degrees. I couldn't feel my hands but.....

my sweet doll pictured above was just $10.00.

Unlike all my other vintage doll finds, she has both of her arms and legs.

Original dress too!

She is smiling at me from under the Christmas tree......

pleased that she found a new loving home.

I would like to share my Vintage Doll tree with you....

starting with my angel.

She is not one of my antique finds...but her beauty earns her a top spot on the tree.

I pulled out many little dolls I had found over the summer at flea markets

I gave them a little makeover.

a little bling, ribbon, ruffle....maybe a crown....

This doll is a gift from a friend

The colors of my tree are white, glitter & a touch of aqua & pink

Her dress was just perfect.

This little doll is one of my favorites
I adore her vintage pink floral dress

How cute is this little one?

I added a vintage brooch & some aqua ribbon.
It didn't matter anymore that she had a crack on her face.

I have a lot more dolls in my "doll hospital" to bling up for my tree....

I'll be sure to have them ready for next Christmas.

I heart the Flea Market

With the cold weather upon us, the outdoor flea market will be closing soon.

(I am making a sad face)

This is what I found this weekend

Everything from little old santas to a pink cup from the 1800's

I have been getting quite the collection of fun pieces to work into my projects

also I love adding the vintage charm around my home.

I have filled an old jewelry box with vintage bling...I just can't resist the sparkle

Hello Mr. chalkware turkey..he is missing one foot

but that's quite alright.

For he was just 50 cents & will re-purpose well into something sweet for next Thanksgiving.

I love adding the little elves onto antique bottles

How about this sewing basket?

The colors are so special...it is just screaming "Springtime"

I hope I can get a couple more weekends of flea market shopping

before the winter freeze sets in.

Pink Saturday for the Holidays Cape May NJ

I headed South to Exit 0 on New Jersey's Garden State Parkway....

...to visit my friend Mary in Cape May.

Mary's home is filled with pink treasures

She loves handmade & has a wonderful collection

from etsy artists & craft shows.

Just perfect to share for Pink Saturday

We collected little gifts for each other & had our own little "Shabby Christmas party".

Below is my gift bag, filled to the brim with delightful pink treasures.

I couldn't wait to open it up!

Here is Mary's gift after she opened it.

I filled a big Union Jack tin with all of her favorite pink holiday treats.

(don't you love her pillows?)

We sipped English tea from Mary's Cath Kidston tea set.

Cape May, New Jersey is such a special place by the seashore.

All of the B&B's & Victorian Homes were decorated for Christmas.

Here's Mary (in pink) and me.

We just enjoyed a Christmas tour at the Physick Estate.

A beautiful mansion built in 1879.

Feeling Festive?

Usually after Thanksgiving, I am excited to decorate for Christmas.

For some reason I'm not feeling the "festive-ness" yet.

Maybe because it has been 65 degrees here at the Jersey Shore?

Maybe because I've been crafting & selling Christmas ornaments since September?

Could be I'm just not motivated to go up into the attic.

All the heavy tubs of decorations?

Whatever it is...I hope it passes.

I love the feeling of the Christmas warm & cozies.

I am planning a trip to Cape May this week to visit my friend, Mary.

We put together special gift bags for each other.

Filled with shabby chic gifts we've carefully selected.

hmmm......Cape May at Christmas...that does sound inspiring...

....and a shabby chic gift exchange too.

add the Victorian houses at the beach decorated for Christmas.

It could be the jump start I need!

Sharing some flea market finds

Let me set the scene...

It's last Friday morning and the temperature is 35 degrees (with wind)

I wasn't sure if the flea market vendors would be out....but I decided to take a shot.

A little over half of them were selling,

...so I pulled on my gloves

...put on my Uggs

...popped up the hood on my heavy winter coat

(whole time in disbelief that it was time to even take this stuff out of the closet)

applied some chapstick

...was on my way!

How can I resist a big handful of vintage jewelry for $7.00?

No resisting...had to have it.

There has never been a little deer on a flea market table that I have walked past.

Each one goes into my bag...this little guy marked Japan was $1.00.

He now shares a spot with all his friends in my home.

By the time I stumbled upon this old Autograph book for only $3.00

I had forgotten about being cold.

Isn't it interesting?

when you find something you love and something you love to do

it is so easy to get lost in the moment & just simply enjoy life.

There is a great week ahead...I hope you enjoy!

Pink Saturday 11/19/11 NYC Trip/Blessings

My friend Mary drove up from Cape May, NJ

We hopped on the train for Penn Station with our sights set on our destination....

Laduree from Paris brought its pastel macarons to New York City's Upper East Side

...and we had to check it out.

The window was so beautiful

We were like little children with visions of macarons dancing in our heads

We each purchased our little pink boxes of macarons.....and they did not disappoint.

These little pastel delights were pure bliss.
You had to close your eyes when you tasted them....that good.

Here is my box...empty of course.

We walked a few blocks before catching a taxi & enjoyed a little bit of central park.

We were celebrating Mary's upcoming birthday.

We had lunch at an Irish Pub, dining on Shepard's Pie...
with carrot cake & tea for dessert

Then we enjoyed Billy Elliot on Broadway

What a day!
We headed for home exhausted but smiling.
I am so blessed with sweet friends & my beautiful family

Collections that just happen

I never intended to collect these vintage brides, grooms & bridesmaids...

It was over a course of 3 years that these little jewels made it into my home.

Found one piece at a time from a flea market or outdoor antique show.

I picked up other things over the years...engraved silver pieces & a sparkling tiara seem to fit the theme.

I guess this is how collections just happen to come about.

You can never go wrong bringing home what you love.

My Sunday Morning Flea Market Find

With winter on the way, I will truly miss going to the outdoor flea markets.

I ventured out this morning. It was 40 degrees so I pulled out my big winter coat.

I walked around the flea market picking up a few little things here & there.

I walked past the first set of tables going back to my car and this is what I spotted...

It was in a hideous frame but I saw past that.

This handwriting makes my heart skip a beat!
Does anyone write like this anymore?

The envelope is post marked 1895.

The frame was filled with all this vintage lace.

I wonder if the name on the envelope is the lady in the picture?

There was no date on the photo but it is labeled

This beautiful lady in her fancy chair with her vintage lace and letter

totally made my day....and the best part? It was only $5.00...

I know..somebody pinch me!!!!

Here are my special finds from my morning at the flea market.

Vintage pins to a wedding cake topper!

My daughter collects the green handled kitchenware & I found this scoop for one dollar!

I have been collecting little vintage deer for a very long time.

This family will fit right in.

I just adore them & cannot resist when I stumble upon them.

This is a very interesting old pin.

It inspires me to start a new shadow box vignette.

This bride and groom had to come home with me.

I will honor Pink Saturday

by starting off with my Pinks!

I just made these little pink girls.

I am so lucky that my husband digs for antique bottles & finds so much good stuff.

I love the pink glitter in the old bottles.

Time to share my Friday morning flea market finds.

I love animals & birds so when I saw this painting I had to take it home.

It's really big & I love the colors.

I am going to polish up the frame too.

It was $40 which is more than I usually spend at the flea market

but I decided to splurge today!

I found these old cake tins (50 cents each)

I thought they would re-purpose well.

I am thinking of filling with fresh cranberries & adding a taper candle to the center

Perfect for my Thanksgiving table!

On a past flea market excursion I found an old ribbon from a horse show.

Today I found this old tobacco card. ($1)

I want to make an equestrian vignette..

Still need to hunt down a few more pieces to complete it.

How about these little plaster frames for just $1.00 for all 3!!

I am sure I can re-purpose these into something pretty.

My Pink Flea Market Finds

Hello Pink Saturday Bloggers!

I wanted to share my little goodies that I found at the flea market this morning.

The little doll was $2 and everything else was $1 each

I just couldn't resist the little celluloid animals

I am picturing the lamb...or maybe he is a mountain goat

with a little wreath of pink flowers & ribbons around his neck.

...and that spool of perfectly pink yarn makes me happy.

How sweet is this little face?..and that hat?

My finds are usually nothing of great value or a collector's dream...

but they truly make my heart sing!

An eye for detail

I would like to introduce my neighbors...Dina above & below is Justine

Dina works as a makeup artist in NYC & has such & eye for detail & color

We were invited to their home for a Labor Day picnic

Their yard is so inspiring

Dina has this incredible talent for finding discarded objects.

She can turn just about anything into eye candy

Everywhere you look is a little vintage vignette tucked away

Vintage signs & antique bottles filled with fresh flowers

One of Dina's recent acquisitions are these old concrete blocks

They were found at an old trailer park that had been recently torn down

She painted them white and filled them with mums

Below is Justine & my daughter Jen

Jen is a 4th grade teacher & today is her first day back to school

Justine loves all her retro finds from her Bar-B-Q apron to the cooler

Dina finds castaways on the curb or at garage sales

She adds her special touches with retro & vintage fabrics

I love her use of color

Above is a new set, but a vintage pillow changes everything

This old garage is awesome with these carriage house doors

Colorful retro lights tie in all the colors in the yard

I am in charge of the cupcakes and toppers to fit the party theme

when my friend has a birthday party for one her daughters.

This year Olivia turned 6 with a Pink Vintage Ballerina party.

Jumbo pink cupcakes were dressed up with pretty pink Ballerinas

Keep in mind that if you want to change the dress or hair color of these little Ballerinas

it is easy with a small brush and some acrylic paint.

They usually come with orange hair.
What's up with that?

We are here on the Jersey Shore waiting for Hurricane Irene to arrive.

We are not sure what to expect so it is really scary.

Saying a little prayer that all of us on the eastcoast & our homes stay safe from harm.

I am always happy to find something on my weekend flea market trips.

I found this 1957 ribbon from a horse show.

It isn't in the best of shape...but for one dollar, I just had to save it and bring it home.

I love the writing on the back.

For $6.00 a got a handful sparkle for my on going "bling" collection.

I am in the process of designing my Halloween & Christmas items

I love embellishing with vintage pieces.

Happy Monday my friends!

I am checking in with my weekend flea market fjnds.

This is an outdoor flea market and the weather has been so hot that many of the sellers

weren't there...but....

I did manage to discover a few pieces to drop into my little canvas bag.

For $5.00 how about a glistening tiara, vintage bead bracelet & a

little pearl brooch?

I wish I could have filled my bag with more..but that's the way it goes sometimes.

Flea Market Finds

Saturday morning I headed out to my favorite outdoor flea market....some days I can score a trunk load of treasure..and some days I just leave empty handed.

This Saturday I spotted a little Bethany Lowe feather tree (tag still attached). Like a cat stalking her prey, I moved in for a closer look all the while planning in my head how much I would pay. I came up with $10 being my top dollar, although we all know it is worth more than that...but I am at the flea market of good deals for goodness sake....so I ask the lady, "How much is your little tree"? When she replied one dollar, I think I got light-headed!!

So this sweet little tree has found a new home...it will go through the seasons displaying Easter pastels to Christmas sparkles.

One of my lovely etsy customers had recently made her home in the historic beach town of

Cape May, NJ

Since I was a Jersey Girl, she invited me to come down and share the day with her.

Below was our first stop "The Dutch Rose".

This little shop was overflowing with vintage trinkets

& hand crafted items from an array of artists.

On the left is my gracious hostess & new friend, Mary.

She is crazy for all things pink & has a beautiful loving spirit.

On the right is Susan, the owner of The Dutch Rose

Susan shares the same loving spirit & the best sense of humor ever.

I left with a shopping bag of treasures & a huge smile.

Next it was on to lunch at the Carriage House Tearoom.

A Pink Angel Parade

My husband found these little German bisque dolls on his bottle digging trips. They were calling my name so I combined them with a few special flea market finds & added my little pinkbuttercreme touches.

Sunday's Flea Market find

On Sunday mornings my husband and I like to visit a local flea market and then go out to breakfast. (I love Sunday) I was so happy with my find this week! We are getting ready to renovate a little powder room and I think I just found my inspiration. I can see this mirror with a little vintage chandelier over the sink.

The seller told us it is from the 1920's (could be older) I loved the etched roses and the little painted flowers in the woodwork....and OMG....we paid just $25.00.

Hello Pink Saturday bloggers!

It might seem I am a bit obsessed with cakes....I am....I have to make the kind that are calorie free tho!

This is one of my new creations. When I was a kid and was discovering that I needed to be creative every second, I would make little shadow boxes....so I thought a cute little shadow box would look sweet attached to a vintage silver spoon.

I placed a piece of old quilt in the background and glittered it up with mica flakes.

I frosted my little cake and placed it on a cake stand.....topped with a pink rose of course.

I covered the box with pages from a vintage cookbook & made a little "cake" banner to finish it off!

I'm happy to "Link into Pink" today!

Below is a "pink" ribbon tied bunch of Lily of the Valley I picked from my garden...I look forward to this each Spring.

My husband is an antique bottle digger so I pick almost all the flowers & put them in the little vintage bottles he gives me. I then surprise everyone with a sweet smelling treat!

....I think this has to be my favorite flower!

Spring

The Spring!

I wish I could bottle it up and keep it around a little longer...so while it is here, I am enjoying the pink tulips in my yard....

The scent from these lilacs is just intoxicating! I picked big bunches for around the house....

...and speaking of intoxicating fragrance, the lily of the valley wins hands down!

..oh... the mushroom...not edible but so sweet hiding under my big tree.

Getting Creative

My creative groove was so off this past winter. The cold and snow made me want to hide under a blanket! In January we decided to renovate our two bathrooms upstairs & I was completely distracted & sometimes overwhelmed with that project.

Somewhere along the line, after my "break" I found it very challenging to get the creative juices flowing again. I can't tell you how many times I would just sit down at my craft table and blankly stare into space!

I guess the creativity planets lined up for me today because I sat down and designed 3 things, this little trinket box is one of them. (I am going to stock pile a little inventory up and then list in my etsy shop and website).

It's good to be back......hugs...Tami

There is something special about preparing Easter dinner. I love taking the time to decorate my table extra special too. This year for my placecards/favors, I decorated little nut cups with decorative trim & tiny Spring flowers.......

Each little basket is filled with vintage inspired Easter grass, a white chocolate bunny & plenty of pastel chocolate filled eggs.

The Easter Bunny even visits the doll house! Notice the Easter basket and boxed chocolate bunny below....

One of my all time favorite Spring decorations is this sweet 12" tall bobble head yellow chick. I call this "Vintage Home Goods". I purchased it many years ago when Home Goods first opened in our area. The price is still on the bottom ($5.99).

I haven't been participating in Pink Saturday much this year and it feels wonderful to join in the fun today.

Bathroom Renovation

We live in a 1920's home and for the life of me I was clinging onto my little pink bathroom. I know right now you are probably asking yourself...is she nuts?...Yes a bit I'll admit, but I loved the old 20's tiles on the wall and floor & the big cast iron tub with the old faucets. My hubs informed me that I could no longer keep my pink iconic space due to the fact that it was crumbling down around me!

Together with the help & expertise of our contractor Frank from FTJ Builders here in New Jersey we came up with this little jewel of a bathroom renovation below.

A bit of shabby cottage paradise wouldn't you agree? She is all finished and is a perfect blank slate to add my special little touches. What the heck was I clinging on to?....not sure, but I'm so ready to run a hot bath!

I'll be back with more pics & some pics of our second bathroom renovation too!

The weather outside is Frightful!

Hello from the Jersey Shore! We are buried up to our eyeballs in snow today. No one can get their cars out.... but I have spaghetti & meatballs simmering, quilts to snuggle up in & old movies to enjoy. So as the cold wind continues to blow outside, we are staying pretty cozy!

NYC is just magical at Christmas. That's me above & my daughter below...we are posing in front of a fabulously decorated tree on the 3rd floor at Tiffany.

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. We spent the day walking and shopping 5th Ave., visited Rockefeller Center & ate lunch at a "fancy" restaurant.

It was the perfect day with my best friend!!

Crafting some Holiday Magic

So another Thanksgiving is behind us...we filled the fridge with leftovers, put away our china & silver, and seen Santa make his appearance in the Macy's parade... so that must mean we are officially in the Christmas holiday season!

Each day I want to feature one of the hand crafted ornaments that I designed this year. I hope you enjoy! Even though Thanksgiving is over, lets remember to be grateful as we go into the most wonderful time of the year!

Our New Fireplace!

When we bought our home 10 years ago, the previous owners had ripped out the mantel & surround from the fireplace. (yeah, I know) We lived with it over the years but just recently asked our contractor Frank from FTJ Builders Inc. to design & build a custom surround & mantel just for us.

Here is the work in progress....Frank, if you are reading this, you are the Rock Star of Design!

Now we have this unbelievable focal point in our living room just in time for the holidays too. (dreaming of all the pink stuff I can put up there!)

I just unpacked my Turkey collection & my home is filled with the colors & scents of Autumn...so I had to go on the search for some good PINKS to share with you today.

Happy Halloween PINK SATURDAY! Oct.30, 2010

I hosted a Halloween themed party for the neighbors last Saturday. Above is my scary crow I made for the table. I found a vintage picture frame & painted the interior with chalkboard paint for my "Eat Drink & Be Scary" message. I attached a crow to the top with some fall themed roses & black tulle...all propped up on an easel.

Scary things were all over the house.....

For party favors, I baked small loaves of pumpkin & banana nut breads. I packed them in little treat bags for my guests to take home for breakfast the next morning. Very tasty indeed.

Blue Decorated Stoneware

My husband collects blue decorated stoneware from New Jersey. He just added these 5 script jugs to his collection. These are cider vinegar jugs that a grocer would order with his name, address & town, etc. These jugs date from around 1895 to 1905.

I always have this fantasy to go back in time & get a glimpse of what was going on. In this case I would watch these talented artists decorate these pieces all day.

They had such talent. I am sure the medium they used was probably a very runny ink like substance & it took a decent amount of skill to write this beautifully.

You know these kiln workers had no idea that the utiliatarian pieces they decorated for grocery & liquor stores would become works of art & very collectible. They were rock star artists & what an honor it would have been to have met them.

Owl Party Invitations

This year I am hosting a neighborhood Harvest Dinner Party. I designed these sweet invitations from felt, rickrack & buttons. I printed out the party invitation, rolled it up and attached it with ribbons.

I was taking a walk in the beach town of Ocean Grove, N.J. when I saw this little shop called Swoon. In the window was an antique typewriter, vintage clothing & many other beautiful items...I had to go inside. The shop was filled with an eclectic mix of vintage & modern. I found this lovely little statue wearing a jeweled crown & she had to come home with me. The owner of the shop was so interesting as well as being totally talented. What started out as a normal day ended in finding an unexpected treasure & making a new friend.

I took some time off from my etsy shop & website to do my summer shows & then my mom went into the hospital. She is home and doing so much better. I am back in my studio making new creations & happy to be back for Pink Saturday!

Sometimes you find the most wonderful little shops tucked away on etsy....I purchased some fantastic ephemera from Jenni at Justdreamdesigns. Her Vintage Supply shop is filled with so many goodies. I fell in love with the book I purchased filled with dressed up kittens from 1937.

Jenni made it feel like Christmas as I opened my package.....vintage sheet music, shabby fabrics, flowers, & so much sweetness I just can't begin to tell ya!!!!

Hello my pink friends! Today I will feature some PINKS from around my house.

Above is a pink shelf by my back door that I painted once upon a time. The vintage hooks come in useful for jackets, keys & handbags. The mirror is a flea market find that I painted white. I have always loved this wall paper too.

This pink tea kettle was really a great find. It is in such good condition for its age that I would never use it..but I bet it would make a good cup of tea.

Paw Paw wants to report that no afghan is complete without a little cat hair!

I made these place card baskets for my guests from little peat pots. I added glittered eggs, moss, vintage sheet music & forget me nots. Below is my mom's place card. When cutting my sheet music, I came across this....just perfect for her since her name is Rose!

Look what was "peeping" out of everyone's water glass!

Below is my dining room with my white farm table. I kept the yellow and white theme quite simple with fresh yellow tulips, a faded cottage yellow table cloth, white china & my vintage silver flatware.

How lucky we were, it was a beautiful Spring day to celebrate this lovely holiday. I hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!

Good Morning PINKS! Oh My Goodness we made it to the first day of SPRING!! Can you believe it? YEAH!!!!

Since I started Pink Saturday, I think I have photographed everything pink in my house....I know that sounds impossible, but I think it's true!......so I am going to share some of my little spring creations with you today.

This is a little vintage doll my husband dug up while bottle digging. I thought she looked perfect with a crown, tulle & pink roses, oh and she needed a little white dove to sit on....below are some of my yummy pink cookie ornies I am making for Easter. (not edible but delicious looking none the less)

Good Day Pinks! I forgot about Pink Saturday & had to quickly go through my recent pictures in my camera and try to pull out some pinks!! I am usually dripping in the color, but this week I don't have too much....but I do have some things to share with you today. Below are the shelves in my kitchen. As you can see there is a vintage pink tea kettle & some pretty pink roses.

This is one of my favorite mirrors. A flea market find that I painted a very pale pink. Under the mirror are dried pink peonies.

Not any pink in this pic below, but this is my new dining room table. I am crazy over the eclectic style and the distressed finish.

Etsy is just filled with so many magical artists.... Michelle at Blingnets offers up the sweetest magnets she hand crafts from vintage jewelry & buttons! These little beauties came to me in a yummy pink box with a beautiful tag, ribbon & extra magnet too!! The workmanship & the materials are very high quality. If you are looking for a unique gift for someone, you can't go wrong here.

I am all about the "special touches" in my home...so why not tack up my grocery list & my nieces pictures on the fridge with something beautiful!

Hello Everyone! Today I wanted to share a birthday party for a very special little gal who loves monkeys. My (extremely talented) friend, Christine put together a "Safari" themed birthday party for her daughter, Gracie. Each guest received a custom passport that was "stamped" when they arrived at each crafting station & game.

This is the precious birthday girl painting a monkey at the painting table. The guests also decorated bananas to make banana people complete with wiggle eyes, pom poms, & pipe cleaner arms. There was a station for crafting monkey necklaces & I was put in charge of the monkey tattoos!

Each party guest received a safari hat ready to decorate with butterflies & their initials. Hidden under the hats were binoculars... because you never know what you may spot during the safari!

Christine handmade monkey cupcake toppers...and I made the cupcakes.

Matching favor bags for all the guests! Christine worked hard to make all the little details come alive...it was just the sweetest party!

Vintage Treasure

My husband was recently digging for antique bottles and came across these sweet treasures. As you can see they are covered with rust and in need of a good cleaning. Old metal cans were buried with the other items and of course rusted away over time, thus coating everything in their path.
Once cleaned up, I will post another picture. I wonder if they belonged to a little girl? or maybe a doll maker?

I guess it will remain a "buried treasure" mystery.

Today we are sharing a favorite holiday tradition. I have a few, but one of my favorites has been a Christmas Card party that I share with my mom & daughter each year. We gather around my dining room table & everyone brings their Christmas cards, address book, stamps, etc. My mom brings over her homemade soup & I serve cookies & hot chocolate in snowman mugs. We share stories, memories, & laughter as we get our cards ready for mailing! It is a wonderful & festive way to spend a Saturday afternoon with loved ones.
