As I welcome in 2013, I feel compelled to organize.
My craft room was getting a bit chaotic..
You know when you have all kinds of things you can't find? and you buy more?
That's where I was.
I found these great organizing baskets at Target.
I put my "Pinkbuttercreme" touch on them
adding some pink pom pom trim and designed some labels.
I have blogged about my craft room in the past...
but for those who missed it I wanted to share my craft storage hutch.
The base is two metal cabinets my husband found for me.
I painted them white with pale pink drawer pulls.
They are side by side with a long wooden top keeping them together.
The 3 white bookshelves are from Walmart and I placed them across the top.
Lots of great storage
Every drawer is filled too.
I made the tags from glitter scrap booking paper.
Printed the content words on off white paper and antiqued the edges.
Tied on with an aqua ribbon.
My craft room is in our unfinished basement.
With a little imagination you can make any space a wonderful place to create!
Over the summer I found a box of these spools at the flea market.
They were absolutely perfect to organized my supply of lace!
Have a wonderful week & happy organizing!

Since I am trying to carve out a work space in my basement I so appreciate and enjoyed seeing your beautiful space. now to get it done!
It seems to be the time of year for organizing... i'm doing it too. Your craft room looks great. Happy New Year...
You have a wonderful space, Tami. I am envious of your pretty lace and bottle brush trees. Where do you find bottle brush trees, especially the white ones? I have seen people clorox them online. I found some at Walmart this holiday season but wondered where else they could be found. I love all of your pink. Your work space is very inspirational. You are right that you can make any area what you want it to be.
I keep trying and tring ....some day I can only hope to have my craft room look as beautiful as yours. I need that storage hutch of yours ! :o)
Oh my! What a glorious craft room. There are a lot of blogs featuring craft room do-overs and your is the prettiest. I love the labels on the baskets.
Can I come and sew in your craft room?
I want to go check out more of your craft room...everything looks so pretty!

No wonder you crafts are so great, what a great space!! I am going to tackle cleaning my craft room as soon as I finish the holiday closet. I don't know why everything gets so messy!

Very beautiful! I love seeing how other organize their craft areas. I have a small bedroom I uses a craft space but find I don't like being upstairs. In a perfect world I'd love a space off the kitchen. You have done a lot with your space very creative. Laura
