A Special Pink Saturday Post

It is an honor to be Pink Saturday's feature blog today!
I wanted to share some of my favorite "pinkness"  & "sweetness"  from around my home.

I find it very hard to resist vintage wedding cake toppers.
I have four in my collection now.

I also love old dolls.
I pick them up at flea markets every chance I get...
& they are so happy to have found a new home in my sunroom!

She is missing an arm...but her pink floral dress more than makes up for it!

I also have a weakness for things that sparkle

My mother gave me this pin..she wore it in the 1950's

The hat and the crown were both flea market finds

My dear friend Mary (lover of all things pink) was visiting last weekend.
We hit the flea markets and junk shops.
She found these shoes & we had to "pinkbuttercreme" them up in my studio!

More pinkness from my craft room.
Here are a couple of ornaments I recently designed.

I am so happy that you accepted my invitation to stop in for a pink fix!
Thank you Beverly for this honor today.

Have a wonderful weekend...and to all you beautiful moms out there...
Happy Mother's Day
xo Tami

Hi Tammy,

Love all your pretty dollies! I picked up one too, a few weeks ago at a flea market. She is rubber outside, and has a cotton cloth inside her body. Molded hair on top of her head, and in really great condition. Looks like one I had in the 50's. I plan on making her a dress from a pair of daughters pedal pushers. Nice collection of wedding toppers. If only they could talk right? I have my mother in laws from 1944. Have a great mother's day!

Charming and inviting---all the work of your imagination and your hands.

I have not the creative hands, though the spirit is willing, but my cook's eyes saw the picture of your studio as a wonderful kitchen, with the shelves holding spices and wonderful utensils, and the bottom drawers lovely crusty loaves of bread, no two alike.

I especially love the floral hat, for it's from "my era"---is it Lily Dache?

What a lovely collection of pink and pretty things. Those dolls! That crown! And I thought I had you on follow already, but apparently not. So, I've fixed that little error but I've missed out on a lot of stuff. I haven't been here since your amazing Skeleton Pageant Dolls. So tomorrow I'll sit here with a cup of tea and have a look around!
